Minimum Requirement

Diploma Courses

The minimum requirement for entry into Spectrum Film School diploma programme is: A KCSE mean grade of C-(minus) with a pass in English, or a mean grade of C plain or one principal pass in ‘A’ levels or 4 credits or better in IGCSE or a certificate in the course of choice from Spectrum Film School or any other recognized institution.

Certificate Courses

The minimum requirement for entry into Spectrum Film School Certificate programme is: A KCSE mean grade of D+(plus) and a D-(minus)with a pass in English.

Online Certificate Courses

The desire to learn and must be proficient with using a computer.

Requirements

Before enrolling, ensure you have the following documents and a laptop meeting these specifications

Copy of KCSE result slip/leaving certificate
Copy of National ID/Passport
Recent color passport photo
A laptop with the following specs or more;
– Processor (CPU) i7 @2.90 GHz (3.4 GHz or better)
– Graphics (GPU) 2GB RAM
– Memory (RAM) 16GB of RAM (32GB recommended)

Thinks to Note

For foreign students: All statutory documents are mandatory.
All applications or online course purchases are done online at Spectrum Film School.
Some of our online courses namely; Filmmaking and Photography still requrire a physical meet up in order to conduct practical training in the last two Semesters.
We offer a variety of online courses that vary from duration to payable fee hence we only include Filmmaking, Animation and Photography on our fee structure however the rest of our online courses are located on our website under the Online Courses section.
